What sweat and Angel’s left behind, the wind took away today. That little bit left on the plate after you lick it clean was removed completely by the desert wind. In the place of BS, sand was left. Today was filled with discovering the beautiful things Mother Nature does with wind, water, sand, time and pressure. The Antelope Canyons are breathtakingly beautiful. You simply cannot take a bad picture in there. Walking up to the Horseshoe Bend is a spectacular surprise. As you walk along this sand trail you can see this wonderful landscape off in the distance and then you suddenly find yourself on the edge of a cliff with a view like no other. The wind picked up while on that trail and did not slow until I set foot in my Airbnb home for the night.
I found a final hike for the day along the rim of the city. You can see for miles and miles. With the wind at my back pushing me along, I giggled while chatting out loud. Luckily no one was around. These trips allow me to fully say whatever needs to be said, and I get to be all the people I need at once: Mother Bear, true friend, perfect mate, and wise loving teacher.
I understand that the advice we give to others is really the advice we need to hear. So today I received a few interesting messages. 1. be so in love with the woman you are that you protect her, finally! 2. Trust the process; you will know when it is right! So relax. 3. Allow the Universe to bring you exactly what and whom you need when you need it. Hell, yesterday a smiling Canadian showed up, today a lovely couple took you in at Antelope Canyon, and a kind Native American man told you all about the area’s hidden hikes which lead you to the Rim Trail. Oh, and you were invited to join four Park Rangers for lunch. All is good and the details don’t really matter. Just let the BS go, PLEASE.
Every time I started going down the rabbit hole of the past, the wind seemed to pick up speed in order to carry it away and dump sand in my bra. Almost as to say, “Stop it!” So I stopped, stayed present, and let the wind sandblast my skin to produce a youthful glow.
Tomorrow I head to Flagstaff. It might be a day of rest, or maybe not. I trust that whatever shows up will be amazing!
