		<description>Hi Kristin: Thank you for posting your blog about what happens to the teenage girl when her parents divorce. I was one of those girls. My parents divorced when I was 12. I always say that my parents&#039; divorce was the best gift they ever gave me because it is the the one thing that will prevent me from evert putting my kids through the hell I went through. Once a child of divorce, always a child of divorce. It defined and shaped my life in more ways than I can count. I am incredibly grateful for my life, but much of that comes from my decision to claim and choose my happiness despite the fact that circumstances have not always been ideal.   Kristin, I believe your work is incredibly important. And I too see the collateral damage in teenage girls that results from divorce. As the mother of a teenage son, I see the way so many girls coming from divorced homes are drawn to him. Their mothers are not monitoring their social media usage at all.</description>
